Saturday Aug. 16 is fan appreciation night at montpelier motor speedway. The grandstand only cost $5 to get in. This place has great food and great people and the racing there is fantastic. go to montpeliermotorspeedway.com for more info.

I posted it to try and help a promoter that really is trying as hard as he can and actually knows what its like to be losing money. I have ran my modified there probably 4 different times and they pay just as far as anyone else. They also try much harder to get races in the some other tracks. I just letting everyone else know whats going on at Montpelier and if they want they can check it out. But if you dont want to go and dont like the place I dont think you need to come on and complain because you wouldnt want someone to do that to your track.

Put the post on the Eldora site. They are not racing at all on Aug 16th. May get some racers to show up for that night.

Well we went over there a few months ago along with Tony Anderson. There were 5 super stocks there. We ran a heat race and a feature ended up 3rd and got a whopping $35. Needless to say we wont be back over there for a while. But that is the chance you take when you go to a different track! I'll stick to Lima and Eldora! Weasel Phlipot #52 & 88

I didnt have time to post on every forum. I figure every one reads them all mostly any way. Montpelier's Pay out is judge on how many cars they get in each class. they have a chart made up that says if (x) amount car show then (y) amount of money is paid. the super stocks have had low car counts the lowest of any track. but modifieds at montpelier have had 20 almost every weekend give or take 2

it wouldnt make sense from a business stand point to pay $600 to a winner in a class that only got 4 cars for that night

I am not exactly sure i have never really looked but for the worst i have had was 65 but i think to start is 50. That is if they get the 16 to 20 mods. Witch they have for most of the year.
