I am writing to talk about my friend Ricky McGue. Ricky passed away in a house fire early Sunday morning. At the age of 30,we all know his life was cut way too short. Ricky had a so called rough life throughout the years. Anytime you would see him though, he was always had a smile on his face. He was a fixture out at Limaland, rarely missing a show. He was passionate about his racing and a huge Frankie Luchini fan. This past year he kinda moved on to being a Jeff Babcock fan since Jeff was in the #52 Mod. Those on the grandstand side have probably seen or heard Ricky. He liked to party and was usually pretty loud. Those of us that knew him, well that was just Ricky. Some would get a little irritated with his ways(including myself at times) but he lived life to have fun. Richard, I am proud to say I was your friend. Saturday night at the Big E is not gonna be our last race watched. Save me a seat up there buddy, we have a lot more races to see together. RIP my friend! Love you like a brother, Kevin

Never knew him either, but do me a favor, Ricky.....

Save me a seat, TOO, at that BIG racetrack in the sky. I'll see you there, one day.

Very Sad! We work with Ricky's mom Patty. We are all heart broke for her and her family. We will be adding some support for Ricky and his family on our truck for tonight and the rest of the season. Again very sad and heart broke, Team 18b toughtruck

We will miss you Ricky! The track will never be the same without you! All the drivers should know that another true race fan is up there watching out for them now! RIP Ricky McGue
