That has to be one of the best races that I've seen this year. As soon as the sun dropped below the tree line off of turn 3, the night was great. I thought the track seemed awefully dusty during the heats but as soon as the sun dropped enough things really cleared up. Made me realize there was just too much sun coming straight into my eyes and not nearly as dusty as 1st thought. As much equiptment that was torn up this week and they ran 30 straight laps under green tonight. This night should make everyone from Lima proud. 5 or 6 Cars were fighting for the lead during the 1st half of the race. I was home before the 11:00pm news started. A racey track, well organized, flawless show!!! Great job Limaland Staff!! I definately got my $$ worth.

I totally agree kenny it was 40 laps i was told. I think Blaney did some thing to his car when he hit the back stretch wall. It was a great night of racing. Nice job lima. I think Lima needs some calender girls. When i saw those young gals i almost dropped my hotdog.

Just a little history for the old timers that Danny Smith comes back to lima and wins with the same number that when he drove for Denny Hooker back in the mid 70,s (I think it was) in Dennys yellow#4 at lima.
