Another awesome night at 'The field'. Joss Moffitt was hammer down on the cushion, sometimes on 2 wheels into 1. Kyle Simon was pulling wheelies on the bottom coming off of 2. And Matt Westfall was blasting around 'rim riding'. Non-wing sprints running top to bottom on the track, and good battles through the entire field! I took a co-worker who had only ever seen some 'local' drag races and some various stock cars on pavement...and his young son. Jeremy loved it! Of course the sprinters were his favorite, saying 'Man, the guys driving those things are nuts!!' And his little boy was talking a mile a minute about all of the 'cool stuff' he was seeing. He was going crazy cheering for every driver in the sprint feature. However, Kyle Simon was the one he picked to win, saying 'I like him because he's fast!' B) . After the races I took them into the pits, and Ethan talked to Matt, and climbed into the Simon 22. Then he wanted to check out the #19 stock car, and Ethan climbed in to that car too...plus the car's driver gave him a autographed picture. Talk about a happy little boy! :D

That's what its all about!!!! Thank you for bringing a friend. And thanks to those drivers taking the time for that lil boy. I remember being that little boy and race car drivers were super heros to me. I still have a great respect for any person who straps into a car. Great job by everyone! Drivers, crews, track workers, push trucks. I know will still have hiccups, but I think we are moving in the right direction. Thanks again NFS for bringing a friend and I'm really glad they left happy. Jeremy

That is exactly how I got into racing or should I say addicted to racing!!! My Dad took me to a race at Lima, when I was about 3 or 4 and have been hooked ever since!!! Just a couple years ago I got the opportunity to finally start driving and it is probably one of the greatest/funnest things I will ever do!!! Gotta love Dirt Trackin'!!! I am glad they enjoyed it!!! I found out this morning, that Ethan hasn't stopped talking about WRP, and sitting in a sprint car and a stock car, plus getting a race car picture (your's) to hang on his wall.

You were a big part of making a kid very happy!! B)

That's what we are trying to put back into WRP....family values but yet a show that is ran as close to the schedule as possible. We started out a little rough due to a learning curve but I think we are on track now. I love surprising little kids buy having them get to meet a driver or ride along in the pace truck. To me it's still about kids. As a driver you have to tend to the kids.......they are our future in racing whether it be actually racing or a fan for life like Doc. I hope the second half of the season is just as great as the first half has been. Many exciting things on the horizon for WRP. We are committed to you the fan and you the racer! Thanks for supporting us so far in 2011!!!

See Dan you need to make one night bring a fan night (Grandstand Only) One paid adult ticket get's one child or adult in free, That might help out WRP grow a larger fan count in the years to fallow. There is more details then what I am saying so look me up and I will talk with you about it. Tim
